Only Italian wines?

Why we only work with Italian wines in our wine list? Manouk’s passion for Italy is bigger than anything. The wine, food, people, landscape, scent just everything little thing of Italy makes her happy. That’s why she traveled and keeps on traveling their a lot. If you need information about a nice place to stay in the middle of the vineyard, just ask her. She knows a few amazing places.

Sparkling

Bedin Prosecco Frizzante Corte Giovanni | 40

Grape: Glera

Tasting notes: Prosecco frizzante has a gentler fizz than a full sparkling wine (spumante) making it lighter, more easy drinking style. Well balanced and fruit- forward, it offers a delicious bouquet of, green apple and white blossmes, that makes way to a crisp clean mouth feel.

Alcohol: 11%

Pairing: It’s softness makes it a delicious treat as an aperitif. It can also be served troughout the meal to complement a variety of foods, and it proudly presents the everyday bubble.

Grape: Glera

Tasting notes: Intensely fruity aroma with clear hints of ripe golden apple and floral notes of acacia flowers, lively acidity and harmonious finish.

Moscato d’Asti D.O.C.G

Grape: Moscato

Tasting notes: Intense aroma of moscato grape.
Slight hints of acacia and honey.
Sweet, and nicely fresh.
The most famous Piedmontese sweet wine.

Pairing: Aperitifs, pastries, strawberries, icecream, cakes, at the end of a meal.

D.O.C. Soave

Grape: Garganeca

Tasting notes: straw-yellow with green hues; theolfaction is thin and elegant with an intense bouquet ofwhite blossom; At the taste is dry and fresh.

Alcohol: 12%

Pairing: ideal with light starters and perfect on the beach.

Caolino IGP Fiano Salento 2021, Cantine de Falco | 40

Salento I.G.P. Fiano

Grape: Fiano

Tasting notes: straw-yellow colour, with a bouquet of fresh flowers, citrus fruits and white chocolate. Well-balanced taste.

Alcohol: 12,5%

Pairing: ideal with sea-based dishes and appetizers based upon fish.

Soave Classico “Casette Foscarino” DOC 2021, Monte Tondo | 50

D.O.C. Soave classico

Grape: Garganeca

Tasting notes: a Soave Classico Crù, straw-yellow with golden highlights; intense exotic fruit bouquet laced with a hint of honey, scents of vanilla, dried fruit and marked mineral aroma; full-bodied, rich and smooth on the palate.

Alcohol: 13%

Pairings: excellent with first course fish dishes elaborated with vegetables; fish soups; and soft cheeses.

Artiglio Bianco IGP Salento 2021, Cantine de Falco | 45

Salento I.G.P.

Grape: Chardonnay & Verdeca.

Tasting notes: straw yellow color with fleeting hints of greeny. Intense Bouquet, and pleasantly fruity with light notes of cedar, tropical fruits, melon and ripe apricots. At the palate smooth, dense and persistent, with a delicate touch of vanilla in the end.

Alcohol: 12,5%

Pairings: It matches perfectly with salty fishbased recipes, white meats and several types of cheeses.

PINOT GRIGIO MARTA 2022, MONTE TONDO | 40

D.O.C. Pinot grigio Delle Venezie

Grape: Pinot Grigio

Tasting notes: Straw-yellow with green hues. With hints of ripe pear, wildflowers and a slight final note of bread crust. The palate is fine, fresh, tasty, balanced and honest with a good aromatic persistence.

 

Alcohol:12%

Pairing: Ideal with squash carpaccio with parmesan cheese, chicken cacciatore, salmon and asparagus.

PECORINO 2022, GIULIANA VICINI | 40

Pecorino is an ancient white grape variety, whose origin is still disputed between Abruzzo and the Marche.

Grape: Pecorino

Tasting notes: It is a fresh and easy wine to drink. Its bright yellow color with green reflections is the prelude to a fragrant sip with a marked acidity. Intense citrus scent found in every sip with an intense final flavor. On the palate it is enveloping, fresh and full-bodied.

Alcohol: 12.5%

Pairing: Dumplings with asparagus, bacon and crunchy breadcrumbs, chitarrina beans, peas and Farindola pecorino, seafood risotto and bottarga.

TREBBIANO D'ABRUZZO 2022, GIULIANA VICINI | 35

D.O.C. Trebbiano d'Abruzzo

Grape: Trebbiano d’Abruzzo

Tasting notes: Trebbiano d’Abruzzo is the most widespread white grape variety in Abruzzo, from the 1960s to today, thanks to its high production capacity. The hand-picked grapes are immediately taken to the cellar, gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature in steel vats. The wine is then bottled in January.
Fresh and easy to drink, with a light straw yellow color. Intense aroma of fresh fruit such as green apples and grapefruit, are the prelude to a savory, structured but harmonious drink.

Alcohol: 12.5%

Pairing: Shellfish appetizers, pasta with lemon, rice salads, grilled vegetables, sliced chicken with lemon and rosemary.

I.G.T. Veneto

Grape: 85% Pinot Noir 15% other grapes

Tasting notes: Intense hints of red berries such as currants and blueberries on the nose, with juniper and just a hint of vanilla and cinnamon.

Alcohol: 13,5%

Pairings: It is the ideal accompaniment for cured meat starters, roasts and barbecued red meat. Even havier fish courses.

POGGIO APRICALE 2021, Martoccia di Brunelli Luca | 45

IGT TOSCANA

Tasting notes:  Ruby red. Fresh and young red wine with hints of cherry , raspberry and black fruit.  Medium bodied.

Alcohol: 13.5%

Food paring: Ideal from aperitif to all meal long. Easy match with grilled meat and salads, tomato sauce pasta and cold cuts.

Grape: 70% Corvina; 30% Rondinella.

Tasting notes: ruby red dark, the nose is powerfulfruity aromas and spices and same vanilla, well-balanced with a light, smooth, slightly tannic finish.

Tasting notes: very important red wine; deep ruby. Intense aromas of dark cherry and plum are complicated by cacao and coffee. Enters rich and fruity, then more floral, finishing long with a refined but very dense, tactile mouthfeel.

Pairings: : It combines beautifully with robust dishes such as venison or roast meats and very mature cheese’s, but it’s also a great sipping wine.

Grape: Sangiovese & Merlot

Tasting notes : Intense and bright ruby red colour. The nose is well-balanced with elements of spice and black fruit that develop. The Sangiovese appears immediately in all its greatness, soft and velvety, with hints of ripe black cherry and a touch of cassis. The tannins are well blended, dense and fleshy. The finish is elegant and persistent. An excellent wine for ageing.

Pairing : In its early years, this wine goes well with all dishes and when aged, it pairs well with roasts, wild game and cheeses.

Taurasi DOCG 2017, De Falco vini | 55

Grape: Aglianico

Tasting notes: The wine has a deep burgundy color. An explosive, earthy aroma and earthy qualities. Ripe dark berries, soil, spices and currently tannins are the main ingredients of this wild, only slightly tamed wine from the vines growing on old lava soils.

Pairings: We recommend it with Lamb, beef & hard cheeses.

In the mouth it is essential, without frills or embellishments. A dry, well-balanced wine. Rich but not excessive and pleasantly drinkable.

Tasting notes: Pergole riserva selection is made just in the best vintages from a grape selection made by our experienced local farmer. This wine expresses our terroir with long longevity, and it’s balanced: sweet but with a good minerality and pleasant acidity.
